Last Saturday I got together with some talented photographer friends NeTonya, Romina, and Margo to photograph Serene.  She's a model looking to build her portfolio, so went spent the day with her and had some great fun!

Twins!!

These little guys were so much fun!  They are the same age as my son, and I got a kick out of seeing how similar they were to him.  We met up on a warm morning in downtown Orange and got to work....if you want to call it work, it was more like play!

I loved working with their mom Cari - actually she did most of the work that day.  For those of you who aren't moms or dads to preschoolers, you can't appreciate how difficult it is to have them sit still and keep their interest.  Cari was soooo good with them!  She kept asking them all kinds of questions about school, their friends, their neighbors, what they would be for Halloween, etc etc.  She's done this before!

Happy Anniversary Debbie and Tim!

One of my dearest, oldest, sweetest, bestest friends Debbie and her husband Tim just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. They thought it might be a nice time to get some family portraits taken to celebrate this milestone.

Their sweet kids, now five and four…..are the best. They will hold a pose for 20 minutes if you ask them to. Case in point, I asked her to stand still and smile while I walked out in the ocean to take her picture. The water came and got her skirt really wet, and Debbie said “what are you doing??!!!” I took the blame and said she was a good listener.

These four really have a great time together, and it is not hard to capture that!!

Deb and Tim, so proud to say I have known the two of you as a couple from the very first date!  What a privilege it has been to watch your family grow over the years.  Here's to many many more!!

New Little Guy

My friends Kristy and David just adopted a newborn baby boy, and what a sweet little guy he is!  We got together to take some pictures of him at just one month old, and plan to do this every month for the rest of the year.  Can not wait to see how much he will change and grow!

We had to laugh, the baby was completely zonked the entire time, and just seemed like a little baby doll!!  Plus he looks pretty darned perfect...

Just looking at these pictures makes me well up a bit - they were wanting to adopt a baby for quite a while, and to see their dream come true really is such a blessing.
